Nancy Carroll--anniversary Card

I liked the last popup so well that I decided to make my anniversary card to my  husband similar....
This is a popup, I used Lori Whitlock box, Dcwv paper. Silhouette clouds.Digi stamps from Paper Smooches: PS Flower Cluster, Sun, PSFEB_digi_image (bird), Hello-Sunshine (sentiment).   I colored these with Spectrum Noir pens. I cut pieces from fruit containers to attach all items and make them look like they were floating. I used files from Silhouette to make the Champagne Glasses, Wedding Cake and Sentiment (You +Me = happiness" I used glitter to highlight the edges of the layers of the cake, champagne glass, and the sentiment.

Nancy Carroll Male Birthday Card

This was done with a variety of DCWV papers I fussy cut most of the leftover scraps, used black and purple washi tape, a momenta metal "wishes", generic bakers twine around unraveled twine and pine needles, the birthday sentiment was Silhouette file with the medallion colored with Spectrum Noir pens to mimic the other colors and an additional square of DCWV paper to make the contrast more dramatic.

Nancy Carroll--birthday popup

List of supplies used to make “blast off card”

Fiskars Fuse to cut all the dies. The die to cut was Sizzix Pop'n Cuts 3-D Magnetic Insert Die-Multi-Tier, tape to mount paper on whole project was from AD Tech “permanent bond tape runner”;  DCWV, “All About Boys Stack” ; Graphix velum ; Spellbinders Nestabilites, “Square Swatches”. Craft Smart ribbon throughout (green glitter for banners and covering coffee stirrers inside. We R Memory Keepers washi (from Costco collection) for both front and inside. Orange cardstock mfg unknown (sorry been in closet for many years). EK Success “Space Critters” stickers; 3 Recollections “Iridescent Adhesive Rhinestones”; 3d foam square from Scrapbook Adhesives); Art Minds “Button Button, Button” (star from space ship collection) ; EK Success “Space Critters” stickers; Shrinky Dinks; Fiskars “banners away”;  Stampendous , “Gears Kiddo”

First I lined up the papers word on the Sizzix Die so the word “Gears” was at the bottom of the inside tier ( I lucked out on how the head of the robot bends up on the top tier so can be seen from each angle) then I cut it.  I then cut out a second piece in orange paper without the pop-n cut die in place .  I used the “Banners Away” on the edges of the inside paper to bring show the orange paper.  I then used the Fuse with adaper plates to cut the Graphix velum with Spellbinders Nestabilites, “Square Swatches” for the front and inside of the card.

Next I decorated the front of card: I cut the paper for the background by hand from the same stack and attached it using tape, then attached We R Memory Keepers washi border on front;  I then  used a Sharpie pen for lettering and words on the Velum and for coloring in the spaceship (from the “All About Boys Stack” which I fussy cut and then mounted with a 3d foam square from Scrapbook Adhesives), I applied the EK Success “Space Critters” stickers; 3 Recollections “Iridescent Adhesive Rhinestones”; and lastly put banner made from washi tape and ribbon on and then added a button from the Art Minds “Button Button, Button” (star from space ship collection)

Inside of card; I used the popup I first made and I made banners from the We r memory keepers washi  and ribbon and attached them with string to the stirrers that I had with string and then  used Two Recollections brads at the top of the flag pole and for the tiny stars on the banners inside.   I made the Shrinky Dinks in center of velum was made using:  Stampendous , “Gears Kiddo” stamped with Fiskars Black Ink then colored in with Sharpie pens, shrunk it and attached it with tape.  I stamped the words “gearing up to” (from the Stampendous stamp) on plain cardstock , the rest was hand written using Black Sharpie and fussy cut out, I attached the flag poles to the tier with a glue gun.

Nancy Carroll

For this project I used the challenge from Paper Smooches Sparks--picture perfect.  I used several digistamps and super imposed them on the cupcakes to vary the lower section to mimic the design of three similar but different pots, for the top I did the same to mimic the funnels filled with string,  I made clouds I cut out from the Silhouette store and inking the edges then layering them.  I put a balloon in each with the digistamp sentiments from Paper Smooches,  Finally for the vertical elements (the strings and scissors) I used another silhouette file for the vines.  I used DCWV papers, with the pink as the first layer as the design mimicked the paneling (in design and coloring) and layered several papers for interest. I colored the balloons and cupcakes with Spectrum Noir pens.

Nancy Carroll, bunny v2

Another St. Patrick's Day Card, this one is for my son (Patrick), of course for the whole family... I  used DCWV "Animal Crackers", Bebunny "Special Friend", Shamrock from Paper Smooches " psmar_digi_image" and banner from Sizzixframelets and die set "Sweet Treats" and colored them with Spectum Noir LG1, LG2, CG1, CG2,CG3,DG1 Ears & Tummy TN1, FS1.
I made oval layers with DCWV "Jewel" stack and green cardstock (which I lightly colored with LG1 to make it stand out.  I used scraps from old projects for the banner and layered them all and highlighted with Viva “My Paper World Gold” glitter pen and also outlined the shamrock with it.

I used the Paper Smooches "psmar_digi_sentiment" and highlighted words with the gold glitter.

The pot -o-gold was from Silhouette and used the Viva Gold glitter pen on gold. the Leprechaun hat I designed in Silhouette,  the Banner was Sizzix.  The coloring was Spectrum Noir
